Join Staraya and Mallorie for twelve transformative days of adventure and yoga, stepping into the precipice of goodness during a journey through Machu Picchu with an authentic Shaman guide.
Throughout this quest we will explore all the crevices of Self, opening your heart through the community we create and a daily yoga practice. On this sacred journey, we invite you to deepen your connection to life through ceremony, nature, and spiritual attunement.
Day 1: Flights land in Lima; Shuttle drives you to the hotel.
Day 2: Breakfast and ocean meditation in the morning; Afternoon flight from Lima to Cusco; Dinner as a group followed by a yin yoga practice.
Day 3: Morning yoga practice; Explore Cusco as a group or individually.
Day 4: Spend the morning exploring Cusco; Afternoon bus ride to Sacha Munay Retreat Centre; Evening yoga practice.
Day 5 – Day 9: Yoga retreat; See program below.
Day 9: Travel to Machu Picchu Town, Begin the journey into Machu Picchu.
Day 10: Guided journey through Machu Picchu including a group blessing and meditation.
Day 11: Travel back to Lima; group dinner to complete the journey

MALLORIE BUOY (PREM)
Yoga began for Mallorie as a journey towards relaxation, which quickly unfolded into a spiritual path, a practice for deep core strength, and a connection to an expansive life philosophy. This newfound passion led Mallorie to the Akhanda Yoga 200 hour YTT (2010) with her teacher, Yogrishi Vishvketu. She went on to complete her Yin YTT, Restorative YTT and Vinyasa YTT, and became certified in Kundalini Yoga and Yoga Lifestyle Counseling during a 500 hour YTT in Rishikesh, India. The path and practice of yoga continue to support and awaken Mallorie to the vast and beautiful nature of this life, clarifying her purpose to teach and learn in the presence of compassion, uniqueness, and devotion.
STARAYA MCKINSTRY, MPH, AHP
Staraya finds grace in all forms. Her studies and teachings of yoga, Ayurveda and ceremony are based on a strong commitment to help herself and others realize their true vibrant selves. A few years ago Staraya decided to make yoga and ayurveda her full time focus and went to study at Kripalu where she received her 200 hour Registered Yoga Training (RYT) certification under the guidance of Brahmani Liebman and Jashoda Edmunds. She then applied to Kripalu School of Yoga and Ayurveda to pursue her 500 RYT, Ayurveda Yoga Specialist and Ayurvedic Counselor Certification. Upon completion, Staraya continued her studies at the world-renowned Ayurvedic Institute in Albuquerque, NM under the guidance of Dr. Vasant Lad, Maria Garre, Nomi Gallo and Jennifer Ayres, where she earned her Ayurvedic Health Practitioner Certification. Since then she has also been certified in Yin Yoga and Ayuryoga©. Staraya loves the science behind Ayurveda and enjoys the creativity that yoga allows. She draws from both traditions in order to help people optimize their health through diet, lifestyle and following the Earth's patterns.
