What if you were told that you were perfect down to your very core? That your body's innate nature is to thrive and be healthy? That you hold the key to your own health? These are questions that Ayurveda knows to be true.
Ayurveda is an ancient fan of medicine dating back over 5,000 years ago. It is a holistic approach to healing the entire being: body, mind and spirit. This system of health concentrates on prevention and understanding one's own makeup in order to focus on how the outer world and environment affects one's daily life.
Everything Is considered to be connected and so instead of treating the symptoms separately, Ayurveda looks for the root cause in order to encourage deep healing. This modality works with diet, lifestyle, yoga, exercise, relaxation techniques and seasonal changes in order to help inject balance and health back into the client.
Ayurveda can help people who are experiencing anxiety, stress, fatigue, insomnia, weakness, obesity, diabetes, malnourishment, ADD/ADHD, acid reflux, digestive issues, skin rashes, acne, muscle soreness, and hair loss, along with many other imbalances. It can also help those who just want to dive deeper into health and wellness for themselves or their family. It can also help with fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum.
Ayurveda is based on the natural elements of Ether (space), Air, Fire, Water, Earth. These elements make up the doshas (our constitution) that make us who we are.
These are known as, Vata (Ether + Air), Pitta (Fire + Water), Kapha (Water + Earth)
Everyone has all three at these doshic characteristics and qualities, yet most of us have one or two that dominate our mind & body. We can be primarily one dosha, dual, or a combination of all 3 (very rare but possible).
When you understand your prakriti - your basic constitution that is determined at the moment of conception and relates to your genetically inherited physical and emotional qualities - you can start to move from a place of deeper understanding in order to bring mare balance to your body and mind.
The dosha quiz will help you gain a better understanding of your primary dosas and from there you will better understand what is out of balance in your body and/or mind. With my blog and videos posted an this site you can then learn tools to help bring your dosha(s) back into balance for optimal health and well being.

Why Schedule an Ayurvedic Consultation
Ayurveda believes that we are all inherently healthy but that life circumstances have covered up some parts of us that need a little dusting off. Ayurveda looks for a root cause and believes that everything is connected, so instead of chopping the body up into pieces to treat, we look at the mind, body and spirit and connect everything together to bring balance and health to your entire being. Ayurveda also understands that each person is unique andwhat may work for one person may not work for another, so a custom plan is put together for just you!
